National ATM Systems, an ATM sales and service company based out of Columbia, SC has officially been sold. The transaction was facilitated by Viking Mergers & Acquisitions, a middle market M&A firm located in Charlotte. The owner of National ATM Systems, Matt Harris, has been managing the business since 2012 after it was passed on to him from his father, who founded the company in 1999.
After growing the business to become one of the largest ATM sales and service companies in South Carolina, Matt Harris was ready to pursue new endeavors and decided to sell his business. “I knew the natural next step was to try and find a buyer, but I had no idea where to begin or how to market the business without my employees and competitors hearing about it”, says Matt Harris. Matt Harris enlisted the help of Greg White, a Senior Advisor at Viking Mergers & Acquisitions to manage the transaction. “National ATM is a stable, growing business with a significant amount of recurring revenue”, says Greg White, “I knew we would find a buyer for this business fast”.
Within just a few months, David Eastwood, a 20-year consultant from Ohio, made an offer on National ATM Systems. “National ATM Systems is a fantastic business”, says David Eastwood. “I am excited to work alongside Matt to learn the business and hopefully, take it to the next level”, he continues.
