Jack Parks is a middle Tennessee native with experience in public accounting and corporate financial reporting. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Alabama, graduating Summa Cum Laude, before completing his Master of Accountancy at Middle Tennessee State University. While in graduate school, Jack served as a graduate assistant and completed all four sections of the CPA exam.
Jack began his career as a CPA with Ernst & Young in Nashville, where he advanced to the role of Assurance Senior. In this capacity, he helped facilitate audit engagements for clients, primarily in the healthcare industry, gaining valuable experience in financial statement analysis, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Following his tenure in public accounting, Jack joined Tractor Supply Company as a Senior Accountant in the SEC financial reporting group. In this role, he was responsible for preparing financial statements and footnotes for earnings releases and quarterly reports, collaborating across departments to ensure accuracy and compliance with SEC requirements. His work provided him with a strong foundation in corporate governance, technical accounting, and financial disclosures for a publicly traded company.
Jack brings to the firm a strong background in accounting, audit, and financial reporting, combined with an understanding of the financial considerations critical to middle-market transactions. In his personal time, Jack loves to travel, spend time with family, and exercise.
