Firehouse Casual Living, is a well-known retail store specializing in fireplaces, patio furniture, grills, and other outdoor living items, has officially been sold to new owners by Viking Mergers & Acquisitions. Firehouse Casual Living was founded by Debs Pedigo who has since grown the business to become one of the largest outdoor living stores in the Southeast, with 4 locations throughout North Carolina.

After 34 years in the business, Debs Pedigo made the decision to sell Firehouse Casual Living using the services of Viking Mergers and Acquisitions. Greg Ponder and John Arrup facilitated the deal. “Firehouse is a fantastic business with tremendous growth opportunity”, says Greg Ponder, of Viking Mergers.  “Within days of listing the business, we had dozens of inquiries. We just needed to find the right buyer”, Greg Ponder continues.

Within just 5 months of listing the business, Greg Ponder and John Arrup of Viking Mergers were able to secure a perfect match: Grant Henegan. With an extensive background in the corporate sector, Grant was anxious to test his entrepreneurial skills in the middle market business realm and Firehouse Causal Living appeared to be a fantastic opportunity. Debs Pedigo could not be happier with the outcome. “Greg Ponder did a great job representing me”, says Debs Pedigo. “I always felt like Viking Mergers made confidentiality a top priority during the process”.

Grant Henegan plans to diversify the product lines offered at Firehouse and expand further throughout the Southeast.
