Jeff Miller recently joined Viking Mergers & Acquisitions as a Senior Advisor and is directly involved with every aspect of his clients’ transactions.

Born in Indiana, Jeff and his family moved to Ocala when he was 10. During his senior year of high school, his parents opened a fishing tackle store called Miller’s Bass Pro Shop. Jeff joined the business learning every aspect of it and managing the operation. A few years later, the Millers decided to transition the business into a boat dealership including motor and accessory sales to their offerings to better serve the needs of their customers, eventually changing the name to Millers Boating Center.

In 2003, the family also opened Road King Trailers of Florida, a company that manufactures boat trailers and Jeff became the President of this company. Both companies grew significantly year over year and the family decided to begin considering the sales process for Road King Trailers in 2020 and of Millers Boating Center in 2021. After intensive due diligence, they chose Viking Mergers & Acquisitions to handle both sales which were incredibly successful and profitable for the family. Through his close working relationships with the Viking team, Jeff was approached by Viking’s President, Larry Lawson after the sale of both of the family businesses to now join their team offering services to clients like himself who want to sell their businesses.

As a former business owner who has been through the process of selling them as well, Jeff brings a wealth of comprehensive experience, insight, and first-hand understanding to the transaction process, from start to finish. Jeff works closely with business owners and executives to implement best practices that engage entire organizations to achieve their desired results, maximize stockholder equity and develop an effective exit strategy. Jeff recognizes a company’s strengths and growth opportunities and assists business owners in achieving the maximum value for their business. He also knows how to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality for companies during the listing and transaction stages.

On a personal note, Jeff has been happily married for 35 years, and has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys all things outdoors, especially golf, fishing and hunting.
