Geoff brings more than 25 years of experience, combining the sophistication of large-scale private equity and investment banking with a hands-on approach for small and mid-sized business owners. His background spans private equity, investment banking, operations, and direct investment in family-owned businesses, giving him a comprehensive viewpoint to deliver tailored solutions for clients. Leveraging this breadth of experience, Geoff provides personalized guidance and employs creative strategies to maximize value.
Prior to Viking, Geoff founded Outrider Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on providing long-term capital for family businesses. Previously, he sourced transactions, led multiple acquisitions and divestitures, and served on the Investment Committee at Milestone Partners, a middle-market private equity firm managing over $650 million in capital. Earlier in his career, Geoff worked at the private equity fund Jefferies Capital Partners and J.P. Morgan Securities, advising on mergers and acquisitions for a broad range of clients.
Geoff earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University, graduating cum laude. He has served as a board member of various private companies and is also a former board member of ACG Philadelphia. He enjoys fishing, golf, mountain biking, tennis, and skiing. Geoff lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife and their blended family of four sons.
