($1MM – $10MM+ VALUATIONS)

Ranked as the Southeast U.S. Top Business Brokerage Firm, Viking Mergers & Acquisitions works with sellers throughout this region, specializing in selling businesses valued in the $1mm to $10mm+ range.

Are you considering selling your business? If so, you’re not alone! On average, businesses in the U.S. change hands every 7-10 years.

Since our founding in 1996, Viking Mergers & Acquisitions has sold over 850 businesses – and the majority of those by volume were in the $1,000,000 to $10,000,000 sales price range. Most businesses that are valued in this range are run by the original founder who may be looking to sell for a variety of reasons.

Successfully selling your business for market value can bring tremendous relief, a chance to rest and renew, and a financial gain by turning the theoretical book value of your business into actual cash. Learn more about our services below, and find out why Viking is consistently rated as one of the top business brokers in the southeast.

Note: Viking also represents businesses in the $10mm to $100mm range via our M&A Advisory Services.

Our Brokerage Approach: How it Works.

At Viking, our team believes in a full business brokerage service approach. This begins with your initial consultation and free business valuation where we create an estimate of your business’s value.

Then we list and market your business to generate interest and carefully screen the prospective buyers who contact us. All of this is done confidentiality, without mentioning the name of your business or other sensitive details.

Qualified prospective buyers then sign an NDA agreement and are allowed access to additional information with your approval. Should the buyer request a meeting with you, we assist you before and during the meeting.

Once an offer letter is received, our intermediary explains the various terms of the offer and counsels you about accepting, rejecting, or issuing a counter-offer.

Once an accepted offer is in place, we assist you throughout the due diligence phase and recommend any outside professional assistance that you may need (such as accountants or lawyers) outside of our brokerage.

Finally, when due diligence is complete, it is time for closing, where all of the final papers are signed and the funds are transferred. At this point you’ve successfully sold your business. Viking will continue to stay involved and assist with any post-closing actions.

Relationships With Thousands of Qualified Buyers

Most businesses that sell in the $1mm to $10mm range are bought by either financial buyers or individuals who plan to own and operate the business themselves. At Viking, we have built relationships with thousands of prospective individual buyers who are actively seeking the right business opportunity. One of the many benefits of working with us as your business broker is your immediate access to the large and highly-qualified buyer pool we have been building since 1996. When we list a new business, we draw attention from this existing buyer pool even before we begin marketing to buyers outside of our network.

Testimonials.

I cannot thank you enough for your professionalism and phenomenal follow-up. Since a deal fell by the wayside due to covid last spring, it’s been a long journey searching and I have not before nor since had any kind of experience with a broker like I have had with Dan Wilson.

Prospective Buyer

Keenan Moran did outstanding work throughout the process.  He was always there when I needed him.  He kept me posted throughout the sale process and he was always very responsive.  Our daughter, the attorney, was so pleased with the job he and Viking did, she’s referred other clients of hers to Keenan. My health is the best it’s been in years.  Zero stress and I’ve lost 80 pounds since we sold.  We bought a place at the beach and I love spending time down there with the kids and our granddaughter.  All in all, life is really good!

Builders Fireplace & Supply

Our representative, Kevin Carlisle of Viking Mergers was very professional, helpful and great to work with throughout the process of selling our business. We first met Kevin back in March of 2018, my husband John and I were skeptical that he could find a qualified buyer that would be interested, within days he had appointments and interviews scheduled for us. Throughout the process we wanted to make sure we had the best buyer to fit our needs and those of our employees. Kevin was always enthusiastic to embrace change and very dedicated in finalizing the deal. We finally closed in August 2020, we had a few setbacks with Covid-19 delaying our close date, but I can honestly say we owe this sale to Kevin for being highly organized and dedicated.  He was always there to help with paperwork and answer questions and spent many nights and weekends working on the final closing documents. Most importantly, I could tell he took our best interest to heart, and that he really cared, as he knew it meant so much to us.
