Jake Iacovella is an Associate Advisor at Viking Mergers & Acquisitions, where he assists members of the Viking transaction team in helping business owners position, market, and successfully exit their companies at maximum value. He brings a strong foundation in financial analysis and valuations, as well as transaction support completion, with hands-on experience guiding owners through sell-side M&A processes.
Prior to joining Viking, Jake operated in the commercial real estate space, where he developed disciplined underwriting skills, deep market insight, and a client-first approach to complex transactions. His experience spans the acquisition and disposition of single- and multi-tenant net-leased assets nationwide, as well as extensive financial modeling, EBITDA normalization, buyer outreach, and due diligence coordination across hundreds of listings. This background enables Jake to bring a rigorous, detail-oriented lens to M&A engagements while maintaining momentum and clarity throughout the deal process.
Jake’s passion for working with entrepreneurs is deeply personal. His father immigrated from Italy and spent more than 40 years building, operating, and then successfully selling a multi-location business. Watching and personally experiencing this journey firsthand shaped Jake’s respect for the determination, sacrifice, and pride behind every privately held company, and drives his commitment to Viking’s clientele and advocating for business owners at one of the most important moments of their professional lives.
A Tampa native, Jake earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University, where he was a member of the Dean’s List and held multiple leadership roles. He currently serves as Chairman of the Rising Leaders Board at the Children’s Cancer Center, supporting fundraising, financial oversight, and awareness initiatives for children and families facing pediatric cancer and chronic blood disorders.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys cooking, sports, boating, padel, outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
