Born and raised in Leesburg, Florida, Joe is a proud alumnus of Florida State University, where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting, along with a minor in Data Analytics. During his time at FSU, he was an active member of the Financial and Professional Services Honor Society, Beta Alpha Psi, and served as Vice President of Finance & Accounting for a major on-campus organization, demonstrating early leadership and a strong aptitude for financial management.
Joe began his professional career with Deloitte, one of the world’s leading Big Four accounting firms, where he served as both an Audit Associate and Senior Associate. In this role, he provided assurance services to a diverse portfolio of public and private clients across including several Fortune 500 companies. His work spanned complex financial statement audits, regulatory compliance, and a pre-IPO audit, honing his ability to evaluate internal controls, lead audit teams, and communicate effectively with C-suite executives.
At Viking Mergers & Acquisitions, Joe leverages his Big Four foundation and analytical expertise to deliver strategic financial insights, business valuations, transactional guidance, and value-added solutions that drive success for both buyers and sellers ensuring organizational growth and success. His deep understanding of accounting principles, combined with hands-on experience in due diligence, financial modeling, and deal negotiation, allows him to provide clients with clarity and confidence throughout the sale process.
As a Florida native passionate about entrepreneurship, Joe understands the sacrifices and dedication required to build a business from the ground up. He takes pride in helping business owners achieve their goals by ensuring a seamless, transparent, and rewarding transaction experience.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys staying active, watching Florida State football, and spending quality time with friends and family.
