Chris Buehler is a versatile entrepreneur and technologist, with experience in diverse industries including IOT, medical devices, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and climate tech. He has held leadership positions as COO or CTO in several early-stage and rapidly-growing entrepreneurial endeavors. He has also led established organizations through substantial periods of change and transformation. Chris worked abroad in Singapore and Germany during the introduction and growth of digital cellular systems. He co-authored 4 patents in the fields of IOT, wireless, and wearable technologies.
Chris extends his enthusiastic support of entrepreneurs as a mentor and advisor to a variety of early-stage businesses. He was recognized as the Venture Asheville Mentor of the Year, and served on the board of an organization that was named the Entrepreneurial Support Organization of the Year in Asheville.
Beyond Chris’ professional endeavors, he has served in leadership positions on civic, educational, and non-profit boards. In 2018, he and his wife relocated from Dallas, Texas to the mountains near Asheville, North Carolina. There, they have discovered the joys and challenges of establishing a mountain farm/homestead in southern Appalachia.
