Now merged with Signature Systems Group, the combined entity is a solution-based design, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution company specializing in a range of light and heavy-duty HDPE temporary site access “matting” systems. Prior to Matrax David held a senior management position at Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, Inc., his primary initiatives include long term business planning, the implementation of profitable growth strategies, the constant evaluation of market position and the identification of new opportunities that build on the firm’s core competencies.
Buddemeyer also worked at Hillis-Carnes during its startup period in the early 1990’s and managed the company’s finances, operations and business development activities. In his prior position, David was Vice President and Director of Sales and Operations with Mabey Bridge & Shore, Inc. He directed all aspects of sales and operations for this $30 million engineered shoring and site access division (including Durabase Mats) of The Mabey Group, a privately owned, British corporation. He led business development initiatives, contract negotiations, procurement of rental assets, and marketing. David expanded and developed multiple sales and service locations throughout the eastern United States and recruited, hired, and trained both sales and operations personnel.
From 1995 to 2002, David held executive leadership roles with multiple entities of $20M Villandry Holdings, LLC including Chief Operating Officer with SMA Imaging, General Manager with Barbera Imaging Technologies, and Regional Manager with Imtek Office Solutions. As Director of Villandry Holdings David identified and evaluated potential acquisition opportunities. As Vice President of Finance for Biohabitats – Ecological Restoration Management, (1994 to 1995), Buddemeyer led all aspects of financial operations for this $5M environmental engineering and construction firm including financial planning, forecasting and capital budgeting.
