A serial entrepreneur, Jon has started, managed and sold multiple successful small businesses in the agency, ecommerce and digital publishing spaces.
Jon began his professional career by consulting for local small businesses. He then grew this consulting practice into a highly respected internet marketing agency with over 60 clients. When it came time to sell his agency, Jon hired Viking as his broker.
After selling his agency in 2013, Jon dove into the ecommerce world where he created two consumer product brands from scratch, and acquired two other brands. He focused on Amazon as his primary marketing and fulfillment channel and quickly grew the brands to 7 figures in revenue. Jon then exited from his ecommerce brands by selling them to a PE-backed aggregator in 2022.
Having started and sold multiple businesses, Jon understands the roller coaster of emotions that goes along with growing a company. He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs think about their future plans, and determine how best to transition to the next stage of their professional career.
As Viking’s VP of Marketing, Jon enjoys helping to educate business owners about their exit options, and is honored to be in a position to guide them in their next steps.
