Equipment Design and Fabrication Inc., a company specializing in fabrication of custom machinery, parts and metal products was recently sold by Viking Mergers and Acquisitions, a firm supporting family owned, small and middle market businesses. Equipment Design and Fabrication Inc. was founded in 1964, and Terry D. Miller started in 1969 as an operating partner and majority owner with an extensive background in engineering. Miller has grown Equipment Design and Fabrication Inc. significantly, creating consistent turnkey service and a loyal customer base over the past five decades.

The sale was facilitated by John Arrup and Keenan Moran, both with Viking Mergers and Acquisitions. Equipment Design and Fabrication Inc. gained immediate interest among potential buyers. “Due to the strong cash flow and steadiness of the business, we knew it would not take long to find the right buyer,” says John Arrup, Senior Advisor at Viking Mergers and Acquisitions. “We received an offer in less than 3 months,” continues Arrup.

Jeremy Yaekel contacted Viking because of their reputation for representing high-quality businesses, and immediately saw that he could leverage his mechanical engineering and advanced business degrees to grow the business.  “Jeremy is the perfect fit for the business. I am confident that he will continue and grow our legacy in the best way,” says Terry D. Miller, previous owner of Equipment Design and Fabrication Inc. Yaekel plans to grow the business by implementing new marketing strategies and technology.
