Zach Showalter brings more than 20 years of experience across entrepreneurship, operations, and investment analysis. He began his career in Chicago, where he founded and operated a proprietary trading and investment firm—building deep expertise in risk management, capital allocation, and what it truly takes to grow a business from the ground up. He later served as COO during a successful e commerce turnaround before joining a $1B family office as an investment analyst, evaluating private companies and gaining firsthand insight into how sophisticated buyers assess value, risk, and long term potential.
As a CEPA certified exit planning strategist, Zach applies a structured, owner centric approach that helps entrepreneurs reduce dependency, strengthen operations, and maximize transferable value. His combination of operational experience, investment perspective, and understanding of the seller’s mindset makes him uniquely equipped to guide owners through the most important financial transaction of their lives.
Zach graduated from Miami University and went on to play professional soccer in Chicago. Now back in his hometown of Knoxville, he and his family stay active in the community—coaching youth sports, cheering on the Vols, and staying connected to the competitive spirit that has shaped his career.
