Coleman is the leader of Viking’s Houston office. Over the course of his 20+ year career, Coleman has led over $100 billion in M&A transactions for large multi-national corporations as an Associate Partner in Deloitte’s M&A practice and closely-held businesses as Managing Partner with Viking. He’s also a former business owner, having built and sold the family business prior to his time at Deloitte. His extensive experience across the M&A lifecycle—serving as a sell-side advisor, buy-side advisor, buyer and seller—gives him a unique perspective that helps drive successful outcomes for his clients.

Recognizing the distinct challenges faced by these entrepreneurs, Coleman leverages his breadth and depth of experience to tailor his approach to each client’s specific needs, providing personalized guidance and employing creative strategies to maximize value and achieve their objectives.
Coleman holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He and his wife, April, live in The Woodlands, TX, with their daughter (Rigby, age 11), son (Freddie, age 9) and dog (Scout, age 6).
