Steve brings a blend of leadership from Capitol Hill, combat zones, and the business world. A former U.S. Congressman, eight-year combat veteran, and qualified Army Airborne Ranger, he is a West Point engineering graduate who also holds master’s degrees from MIT and Harvard. He later led operations overseeing 470 personnel and $3.2B in contracts in conflict zones across the Middle East and Central Asia.
Steve coauthoring federal legislation signed into law, serving on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Conference Committee, and co-founding a niche furniture rental startup for federal employees. He has also served as Special Envoy for Transatlantic Affairs under HRH Prince Raphael Dakik.
Steve completed the Iditarod, attempted to summit Mount Everest during 2015—its deadliest season on record—and spoke on American politics at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Today, he helps transfer enterprise, so communities retain businesses that anchor the American economy.
